OpenClaw Support in China | Free Installations & Subsidies

It has long become common in China to see OpenClaw installations available to anyone on the streets. These footage were taken outside the Tencent office in Shenzhen, where a team of developers organized a free event to install this tool. According to them, approximately a thousand people attended that day to test their skills and learn about the new technology.

Similar events also took place in other cities such as Shanghai, Beijing, and several other major centers. Interestingly, China is currently planning a large-scale support program for OpenClaw. As part of this initiative, special zones called Lobster Service Zones will be created—either physical locations or cloud platforms—where OpenClaw is fully operational and configured. Operators will receive funding for hosting, and companies or individuals will be able to use the service almost for free.

Additionally, there are attractive incentives for developers and companies that add new applications or skills for OpenClaw in priority industries. Up to 2 million yuan in subsidies are expected to be allocated for project implementation. Projects recognized as “demonstration” — meaning successfully deployed and showing good results — can receive a one-time payment of up to one million yuan, approximately 140,000 USD at current exchange rates.
