A new startup called RentAHuman has recently appeared, offering AI agents the ability to rent humans for various tasks.
By the way, their website is rentahuman.ai/. They describe themselves as a “meat layer for AI,” which essentially means something like a “physical layer for artificial intelligence.”
The idea behind the project is to create a platform where people with specific skills and locations can offer their services in areas where AI cannot handle tasks without the help of live performers — for example, physical actions or small errands. People register, specify their skills and place of residence, and AI agents search for suitable performers, give them instructions, and pay for their work in cryptocurrency.
There are already many stories circulating on social media about participants completing tasks such as sending parcels or even just touching grass for AI, with some earning up to $100 for simply holding a sign that says “AI paid me for this.” Quite surprising and a bit strange.
By the way, if you have your own agent or robot assistant, you can also register it on the platform — let it have some fun and earn money.
