If you happen to be in Portugal next week, on March 19th, Thursday, I have a lecture scheduled dedicated to the history of artificial intelligence, cybernetics, and automation. We will discuss where we currently stand in this journey and how these technologies might develop in the coming years.
The main goal is to explain that AI, large language models, and agents are not something new that appeared just three years ago. This is a long process that has been ongoing for at least eight decades. If development continues along the current trajectory, we can speculate about where all this might lead us in the future.
