3D Generators & AI Enhancements | Rodin 2.0 and BANG by DeemosTech

Returning to the discussion of 3D generators.

DeemosTech has announced a teaser for Rodin 2.0, and they immediately posted some images with render frames. They say, “Guess where about five hours were spent working on the skin, and where just a single click was enough for silicone materials.”

In my opinion, the AI version is B.

I also assume that both models underwent processing with a retopology tool. The leather version was processed through ZBrush, while the AI version was retopologized internally, which they are refining right before Siggraph. It seems to me that simply modeling leather objects using frames doesn’t lead to such significant discrepancies.

In any case, we’re waiting for their new project under the codename BANG, featuring segmentation, retopology, and various useful features.
