AI Adoption Challenges | Build Culture & Change Management

Over the past two weeks, I have spoken with at least twenty marketing and SEO specialists. Almost all of them share the same problem: they understand that artificial intelligence represents both a huge opportunity and a potential risk. However, they face resistance, denial, and reluctance from their teams to adopt new approaches. These people are talented and not easily manipulated, but there’s a sense that in the competitive race, they are falling behind the market.

It’s important to realize that the main part of AI implementation work involves creating a company culture, managing change, and organizational design. Estimates suggest that about 60% of efforts are dedicated to these aspects. Another third is infrastructure related to data, security, and monitoring systems. The remaining 10% is spent on finding and configuring the right agents or tools for automation.

The key point is that without the right internal culture and effective change management, it’s nearly impossible to transform an organization. Technology also plays an important role, but without support from people, everything can fall apart during the implementation phase.
