Google continues to expand the capabilities of its Notebook LM. Now it can turn your information sources into full-fledged video stories and documentary films.
A new feature called Cinematic Video Overview has recently been introduced. If previously the tool only created static slides, now you’ll have a fully animated and immersive video at your disposal. Imagine that? This is no longer just an overview – it’s real cinema!
Several powerful components are involved in this process: Gemini 3 acts as the director, Nano Banana Pro handles reference generation, and Veo 3 manages video animation. Together, this ensemble produces impressive results.
Of course, for now, this is more of an experiment or the seed of a larger future. But imagine: if the current version of NotebookLM can produce such cinematic overviews, in a few years we will be able to generate full-length films on any topic in just a few minutes. This could radically change the approach to learning and information in general.
Unfortunately, this new feature is currently available only to Ultra account users and only in English. So, the wait won’t be long!
