Meta* still couldn’t manage to acquire OpenClaw, so they decided to just replicate it 😐
Today, Manus (the ones bought by Zuckerberg, as a reminder) introduced new features called Manus Agents in chats.
Essentially, it’s a fully equivalent solution to OpenClaw: integrations with services like Gmail and Notion, the ability to manage through messengers, run background tasks, and much more.
The main difference lies in the access method. Some users may prefer Manus Agents specifically for this reason: no need to worry about self-hosting, everything is set up and works immediately after installation (although for a fee and without much option for deep customization).
