Nvidia GTC 2026 Highlights | OpenClaw, Space Data Centers & AI Factories

At GTC 2026, Jensen Huang delivered a two-hour keynote speech detailing Nvidia’s latest developments — from space data centers to token creation factories. Here are the main highlights.

The most significant is OpenClaw — not just another framework or tool, but a next-generation operating system. It can be considered one of the most important software releases in history. However, there is one challenge — security. Nvidia proposed a solution called NemoClaw — an enterprise version of OpenClaw. It includes log auditing, confidential computing (i.e., data encryption directly on the GPU), and agent isolation within a separate sandbox. It’s interesting to wonder if, after acquiring OpenAI, they might launch something similar.

Next, Huang announced Vera Rubin Space-1 — an orbital data center module. This marks Nvidia’s official move beyond our planet. It uses the Rubin (R100) architecture, which provides up to a 25-fold increase in inference computing power compared to H100. The main challenge in space is cooling equipment, but Nvidia is already working on this issue.

It was also announced that data centers will soon evolve into full-fledged AI factories. Their role will expand: instead of just inference, they will start producing tokens and content based on artificial intelligence. Forecasts suggest that around 80% of software will be replaced by AI-generated content. In this context, Nvidia is developing the Dynamo OS and DSX platforms: the first is a management system for such factories with dynamic workload redistribution between clusters, and the second provides digital twins of infrastructure — modeling all power and cooling processes to quickly optimize system performance.

Additionally, a hardware innovation was showcased — the Vera Rubin GPU — along with updated robot software that the company continues to develop in collaboration with partners.
