The main conclusion about the role of agents in business is as follows: we initially thought that automation would make work simpler and easier. But when we started implementing such systems in practice, for example in software development, it turned out to be quite the opposite. These tools proved to be so powerful and sophisticated that all engineers had to completely rethink their approaches and methods of work. Instead of simply adopting new technologies, they had to rebuild the entire process from scratch, based on working with agents.
The same will happen with other office functions. What is currently happening with development teams—this transformation, which will take from three to sixteen months—will soon affect all other departments. During this time, we can expect significant changes: radical reorganization of business processes, the emergence of new vulnerabilities, the need to reinvent everything anew, and a struggle to maintain stability and quality amid increasing complexity. Ultimately, efficiency across the entire business will grow substantially, although the path to this will involve major challenges and restructuring.
