Another Black Mirror-style moment: OpenAI is entering a new market—this time with toys that utilize artificial intelligence. The company has decided to broaden its horizons and formed a partnership with a major manufacturer like Mattel, known for its popular brands such as Barbie, Hot Wheels, UNO, Polly Pocket, and other hits in the global toy industry.
They plan to release their first joint project by the end of this year, with a particular focus on safety issues. Hopefully, this will make parents think twice about whether they should buy such toys for their children.
Would you buy a toy with artificial intelligence for your little one?
