Google has introduced a new version of its product — Gemini 2.5 Flash-Lite. This is currently the most affordable and fastest solution in the Gemini 2.5 lineup, ideal for those who prioritize speed and cost-efficiency.
The model includes various functions: adjustable Rizonning (so you can set a budget and use it without much hassle), a large context window of up to one million tokens, built-in web search, and even a code interpreter.
In terms of performance, this version significantly surpasses the previous Flash-Lite 2.5, especially in programming and computation tasks. Of course, in some aspects, it slightly lags behind the full-featured Flash, but it is much cheaper, even when using the Thinking mode.
