The familiar alphaXiv has expanded its toolkit with a new assistant — the Research Agent, which will significantly simplify researchers’ work with their papers.
Recall that alphaXiv is a kind of clone of arXiv, focused on artificial intelligence. Several free features are already available on this platform: an agent for in-depth analysis of research, a helper for working with the code base of any paper, a generator of brief summaries, and a chatbot for answering questions about scientific publications.
Now, a new feature has appeared — the Research Agent. Its idea is simple: you upload your paper or part of it, and it handles its analysis and verification. To do this, it uses relevant sources from across the internet, helps compile literature reviews, offers fresh ideas, and supports you during editing.
Additionally, an integration with MCP is promised soon, which should make the work even more convenient.
